How to use Atrium
Guides for every Atrium app — vault, notes, calendar, lists, contacts, budgets, polls, invitations, registry and forms — plus sharing with family or a team, keeping your account safe, and billing.
Getting started
Create your account, set your master password and choose a plan.
- Create your account and start a trialSign up with an email address, get 14 days of everything with no card, and learn the difference between signing in and unlocking.
- Your master passwordThe one key behind your vault, notes and calendar. Why it never leaves your device, how to choose a good one, and why we can't reset it.
- Choosing a planPersonal, Family, Business or Enterprise. Every plan includes every app; they differ by people, storage and admin controls.
Vault
Logins, secure notes, files, time-locked access, the generator, authenticator codes, import and export, and the browser extension.
- Logins, secure notes and filesWhat you can keep in the vault, how it is encrypted, and how folders, favourites, search and the trash work.
- Importing and exporting your vaultBring your passwords in from another password manager, and take your Atrium vault out again as an encrypted backup or as CSV/JSON.
- Time-locked accessLock a vault item so it can only be opened inside the windows you choose, enforced by our server's clock rather than a setting in the app.
- Schedule typesDaily, weekly, monthly, date-range and cron windows, with examples of when to use each.
- The password generatorCreate strong random passwords when you add or edit a login, in the web app or the browser extension.
- Authenticator codes in the vaultStore a login's authenticator key alongside its password and get a live one-time code right on the item, without a separate app.
- Auto-lock and the clipboardBy default, keys live only in memory and the vault locks after 15 minutes idle; you can also choose to keep a browser unlocked for longer.
- The browser extensionFill in logins on the sites you visit and save new ones, with the same encryption and unlock as the web app.
